History
History of the Ithaca Singles Group
The Ithaca Singles Group is a non-profit social group for singles that is run by unpaid volunteers.
The group was started in 1995 on a sunny day in Ithaca's Stewart Park.
Some friends sitting under a willow tree thought it would be fun to have an organization dedicated to singles activities, and from these "Founding Fathers"/"Founding Mothers" the Ithaca Singles Group was born.
Although we welcome adults of all ages, our current membership consists of single men & women ranging in age from their 40's t0 70's who want to get out and have fun with others.
