Here are Driving directions to our Summer Potluck Picnics at Stewart Park (June through September).  Directions for coming to Ithaca via 13N are below. Click on the links for other routes.

I81 & 79W | Via 17 & 96B (Owego) | Via 13 South (Dryden/Cortland)

Via 13N:

1. Take 13N through Ithaca.
2. As you enter Ithaca proper (past Wegman's on your left), 13N becomes S. Meadow Street
3. Follow Meadow Street through all remaining traffic lights to the exit ramp for East Shore Drive / Stewart Park and then take the exit.
4. Turn left onto East Shore Drive at the end of the exit ramp and turn left again immediately after passing under the Route 13 bridges.
5. Just before coming back onto Route 13 heading the opposite direction, turn right into Stewart Park.
6. At the four way stop, cross the railroad tracks and turn left. The speed limit is about 10 mph, so drive slowly.
7. The road will turn right and you'll pass a pond on your left side shortly before it splits.
8. Take the right side of the split and park your car where the road approaches the lake.
9. Near where the road turns left, there will be a covered well on right as you face the lake. We normally gather there and you should be able to find the Ithaca Singles Group sign.
10. We've also used the area on the other side of the road when another group gets to our normal spot first. At any rate, look for the Ithaca Singles Group sign at either place.

Via 81 and 79W:

1. Take 81 to Whitney Point Exit (79W).
2. Take 79W to Ithaca.
3. 79W will bear right as you descend to downtown Ithaca, and 79W will become Seneca Street
4. Follow Seneca to Meadow Street (Route 13) and turn right onto Meadow Street
5. At this point, follow the directions for Route 13N as written above.

Via 17 and 96B (Owego):

1. Take 17W to Owego.
2. Take 96B into Ithaca past Ithaca College
3. Descend 96B to downtown Ithaca.
4. A short distance before the bottom, there will be a turn to the left onto Clinton St.
5. Turn and follow Clinton Street past both the Ithaca Police Dept. and the Holiday Inn on the right to Meadow Street keeping on the outside lane as you approach the traffic light for a right hand turn.
6. Turn right onto Meadow Street and follow the remaining instructions above as if coming in on route 13 north.

Via 13S (Dryden/Cortland):

1. Take 13S past the Pyramid Mall.
2. You will descend a long, long hill towards Ithaca.
3. Admire beautiful Cayuga Lake on your right as you descend at 55 miles per hour.
4. At the bottom of the hill is an exit for Stewart Park and East Shore Drive. Follow the exit towards Stewart Park.
5. At the bottom of the exit ramp, cross the entrance ramp for 13 and enter Stewart Park.
6. At the four way stop, cross the railroad tracks and turn left. The speed limit is about 10 mph, so drive slowly.
